Therapy Services

Philosophy

At the centre of my therapeutic approach is the valuing of each individual that I work with. The reasons that bring people to therapy are as varied as their personal life stories. I aim to be responsive and sensitive to each client's needs and intentions.

With the above, I provide individual services that dynamically address clients needs across various age spans:

  • Children (7-11)
  • Youth (12-18)
  • Adult (18+)
Experience

Some of the issues I have experience and training in supporting people include:

  • Anxiety + stress management
  • Depression + mood disorders
  • 2SLGBTQIA+ identity and gender exploration/affirmation
  • Trauma + PTSD
  • Life transitions + change
  • Personal growth
  • Family + relationship challenges
  • Emotion regulation
  • Grief + loss
  • Intimate partner violence, including 2SLGBTQIA+ relationships
Modalities

My primary training as a Psychotherapist is largely guided by psychodynamic and attachment theories, while also being complimented by other approaches.

I believe that no one approach fits all, and I draw from a range of modalities to meet you where you are at. These modalities include:

  • Art Psychotherapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1)
  • Interpersonal Psychotherapy
  • Client Centered Counselling
  • Play Therapy
